The Challenge

So, the time has come to keep me on track with this weight loss and fitness lark. I’ve lost two stone and will need to lose at least another eight to get to my target.

To give myself something to aim for, I’ve decided to set myself a challenge. By this time next year, I will have lost enough weight to climb Snowdon, the highest mountain in this wonderful country.

The walk is an 8 mile route (13km) to the peak of the mountain and the climb is 3562ft above sea level. It’ll be something to work towards and I hope that I will have hit my target well before getting to take the trip.

I’ve a bit of time to plan the trip and hope that as the time gets closer I’ll set up a Just Giving Page to get some sponsorship for charity.

Anyway, there’s the challenge and I hope that in 12 months it will be done. It will be close to my half century too.
