A sticky one this week.

I’ve had a good week. It started with an amazing rugby match last Friday. Supporting Wales probably helps with the weight loss. It was a big buttock clenching exercise, especially the first half of the game.

There were a few beers consumed but not a huge amount and I resisted the temptation to hit the chippy for something to scoff too. Didn’t help that one of the chaps that goes to my group was on the bus tucking into chicken curry and chips!

The weekend went quite well. I’d been quite good on the plan and had tried to stay within my syns. I had a lovely meal on Sunday. Roasted pork loin, roasted spuds, carrots, parsnips and peas. Was delish.

Monday was a bit ruinous though. I had to take my mum to the hospital for an appointment. After the appointment, we when to visit an old friend at the local pub. I had a lovely beef chilli and to follow, there was an incredible sticky toffee pudding and custard. There was no way on the planet that I was going to resist that.

I registered my Race at your pace completion and my medal turned up just a few days later. I’ve not signed up for this month but will look to do so in March and if I do, I think I’ll try to aim for 100 miles. I think it’s doable!

The rest of the week has gone to plan and I’ve lost another two pounds this week. I’ve lost 13.5lbs since the start of the year and it’s another step closer to stone number eight. I’m close on to the next stone bracket and that will be the most incredible feeling.
