Another Plateau.

You know sometimes you have those days that completely stump you. You don’t know if you’re coming or going. Which way is up? Where you are and why you’re there anyway.

This week has been a bit like that.

I know that my food optimising hasn’t been up to scratch this week. I’ve given in to a lot of temptation. I’ve had too many naughty things. Pretzels and a magnificent Sunday lunch among other things and that has resulted in another maintain.

I had a great start to the year. I lost 11.5lbs in January. This month I’ve lost just two.

I know that I’m not taking the extra walks. I didn’t sign up for Race at your Pace this month. I haven’t done my Thornhill Mile at all over the last two weeks. I’ve not done any extra stomping about and I know that I promised last week that I would try to get out an about a bit more.

The weather has been absolutely perfect for wandering but I just haven’t wanted to go. I suppose that I’ve just not been in the right frame of mind to get where I need to go and that is bothering me a bit.

Still, I have a new SW week to look forward to. I don’t expect to sabotage myself this weekend but I do have a ticket to the Wales v England game on Saturday evening. I’ll either have a beer to commiserate or celebrate but I’ll try and stick to just the one.

Apart from that, the rest of the weekend will be a breeze. My Sunday will be spent with the mum and I’ll do a dinner for her which of course will be SW friendly.

The next chilli I make will be meat free too. I’m going to use two tins of mixed beans and blitz one of them up to see if I can save myself a bit of cash. £5 for a thing of 5% mince beef is getting a bit much and after Brexit, you can guarantee that will double! 🙁

Anyway. No move on the Scales of Doom this week. Yes, I’m a little miffed but I think I know what went wrong and this week I’ll do something about it.
