Just over a week.

It’s the 27th September 2019 and in just over a week, I get to the big half century. I hit 50 and that’s an achievement in itself! However I’m struggling with the plan.

I’m not planning to have a bad weekend this weekend but I’m sure that I’m going to have some crap food and a bit of beer that may cause me hassle. 

My week this week has been a bit of an odd one. I thought that I’d been fairly good and on plan with it. I’d scrapped the porridge in the morning the previous week and had lost. So I thought I’d keep going with my brekkie in the morning. 

My lunches have been okay with a baked spud and a tin of beans. My dinners have been sausages (low fat), spuds and some mixed veg. I had a curry with chicken breast and Mayflower sauce but I do think I need to do a bit more planning.

I’ve been struggling with finances recently so not being able to plan a proper shop. I hope that I can perhaps get that sorted a bit this month. Maybe do an Iceland shop to pick up some ready meals and then a Tesco Shop to get the basics in.

I’ve got a little extra cash coming in this month as it’s time for my shares dividend which isn’t worth much but it’s a bit extra and for the first time in ages I appear to have earned a bit of an incentive. So hopefully this month will be a bit easier. 

Having said that, I’ve got a few bits to pay out on this month too. It’s nearly christmas so it’s party season and we’ve got a works afternoon out at the end of the month so I need to pay for that too.

I need to concentrate on the food this week and I also need to try and get my arse off the settee and go for a walk or three. I’ve been very lazy this week and haven’t been so that’s probably why I’ve put on 1.5lbs.

I’m disappointed with myself again. I know that 1.5lbs on is nothing in the long run but it’s starting to look like this stone is going to be one of those that just takes months and months to lose.

I definitely need to sit and read through the books again. I hope I can plan a bit better for the next few weeks and try to lose. Although I think the birthday celebrations are likely to scupper any chance of that happening.
