It's a loss.

Week 101 and despite everything I’ve lost a pound this week.  Gone are the days of three pounds plus. I’m having to work much harder for every ounce now.

So, week 101 on the plan, not necessarily on plan though. I’ve done a couple of wanders this week and been generally good although the cheap Pringles have also reared their ugly heads again!

I’m at a point now where I’m thinking that I’m not going to lose more than I have already. I know that it’s not right and that with the extra effort, I can get back to the 10.5 stone and beyond but I’m struggling with it.

Since Christmas, I’ve just not been able to get back into the groove and I know I’ve complained about this recently too. I’m struggling to get it going and am thinking do I need to keep paying a fiver a week for nowt.

Perhaps I need to complete an SAS log next week. It’s a sort of pro’s and con’s list that you write for yourself to see if it’s worth continuing.

Deep down I know it is and I’m sure that the pro’s will outweigh the con’s but I do need to sit and think about how I’m going to progress with this.

On the brighter side, the weather in the evenings hasn’t been too bad. I’ve managed to get a couple of walks in this week. I do need to increase the frequency of these wanders though and as the year progresses, I hope that I can up it to three a week.

Last nights walk was a wander around Roath Park lake and Rec. I’ve not done this walk for a couple of months and whilst it’s not the most energetic of wanders, it is a good 5k, just under 3.5 miles.

I may try something a bit different next time and head up Penylan Hill and follow Cyncoed Road along to Celyn Avenue.

No doubt a slightly longer walk but Penylan Hill will be a good climb and should get the heart rate up a bit.

I did consider it on this walk but just thought I’d just do the usual route.

So, on to week 102. With some Rugby on the horizon over the next few weeks, a trip to Birmingham and a trip to London for a gig, the next three weeks are going to be a bit of a challenge.
