A loss is a loss…

It’s been a bad week again and I’m really struggling to get my head back into the game. I know I’ve been whinging about this for the last few weeks but it’s really starting to become a bit of a mindset for me.

I can’t help but go to the shop and whilst I’m wandering around there, I simply cannot seem to walk through the shop without slipping in a packet of crisps or a reduced priced hot cross bun or three.

I’m trying to stop myself from actually going to the shop and have tried to avoid wandering around there. Last time I went in was on Tuesday. I wandered through and bought meats and a few bits of veg. Some cereal and milk, you know, the usuals. However, I also bought a packet of Hot Cross Buns that had been reduced to 50p.

The week wasn’t helped by a curry on Friday night and a Welsh rugby win (and ticket to the game) on Saturday.  It’s the first time for ages that I’ve been out to have a drink and even though I was on the last bus home, I had massively over syned on both of those days.

I’ve tried to counter this however. As the weather has been absolutely banging, I’ve been taking a walk during my lunch hour. I did a decent walk on Monday night and for the last three days have done a good 40 minutes of walking. 1.6 miles on Tuesday, 1.8 miles on Wednesday and 2.46 miles today. Lets hope that the weather holds for tomorrow.

I’m having a day out on Saturday and no doubt there will be quite a bit of walking then too. I will obviously let you all know how that goes.

As it happens, I did lose weight this week. It was only half a pound but if I’d stuck to the plan then it could have been a lot more.

I promise to do my absolute best to stick to the plan for the next few weeks. I do need to get my head back in the game and try to eat more speed food to give myself that little boost that I really do need.

Any ideas for curbing the evil purchases would be gratefully appreciated. 🙂
