That really is the only way to describe this last week. After the joy and shock of losing 7.5lbs in a week, it was back down to Earth with a literal bang.
Friday saw the start of the Road To Ruin 2019 festival. Three nights under canvas on the beer, rum and junk food.
I lasted until Saturday morning before it all came crashing down. I collapsed. My legs went from under me, I passed out and woke up in my pants with the medics looking me over. A combination lack of food and massive amounts of alcohol really did for me. I still have a bad back, knee and ankle. Really not great.
The rest of Saturday was resting up. I did move but not far. Sunday I felt far better but still not great (even today I’m still aching!)
Still what a weekend. It was absolutely fantastic and what a great festival. I cannot wait to go again next year although next year I will be on my very best behaviour!

So, the damage that did to the diet this week is pretty obvious. 4.5lbs on which is still a 3lb deficit over the last two weeks. Not so bad then really but I’d have rather’d have maintained.

So where do I go from here? Well, I’ve got nothing in my way this week. I’m going to the Mum’s tomorrow so will have a look at taking something with me when I go.
I’ll aim to be good this week and look to take off two pounds this week and then another two before I go to Bloodstock.
