Oops! Forgot to name this one!

Yay, Tuesday yet again. Week 20 since the start of the year. It’s flying past and it will soon be June, half way through the year.

I have had a few issues this week and I can’t really blame the weather. I’ve had a nasty headache at the back of my head. Really weird. Ibuprofen helped it but I obviously turned to Dr Google who diagnosed anything from a migrane to a tumor! Thankfully it wasn’t much more than a bit of poor posture and not “The Big C.”

The week had some interesting conditions. It was pretty fantastic to see the aurora borealis from my own back door! So much for going to Iceland but I do still need to go there to see an active volcano. That’s next on my bucket list.

Saturday’s mini heatwave was pretty awesome although it did quite encourage me to partake of a few beers and some pub grub before watching Fury and Phil Campbell play a gig in Newport.

Sunday was better foodwise with a very decent roast chicken dinner. (I do a mean roast dins!) My hangover wasn’t too bad and I was up early to watch Skindred appear on Sunday Brunch. That was a bit of fun.

I sat in the back garden for an hour or so in the afternoon, that was until the skies darkened and the ominous distant rumble of thunder forced a retreat back inside.

So where does that leave me on the scales of doom? Well regrettably, this week was a gain.

Half a pound back on this week. I really do need to try my best for the next few weeks to stick to the plan.

A bit disappointed as overall, I felt that I’d had a good week. There were a few pitfalls but generally, I was optomistic that there had been a bit of a loss this week.

Ah well. I won’t get too disappointed as it has been a bit up and down over the last few weeks.

Next week will be better.

This week is a quiet one. There are no gigs or birthdays to get in the way.

The weather isn’t looking too good this week but I do plan on a number of walks. A good few miles tomorrow after work and then the Thornhill Mile a few times fo the rest of the week. Headphones on with a good loud album or two to keep me entertained.

A good shop for a bulk cooked chilli or spag bol to keep me fed. Some spuds, pasta, chicken and rice to fill me up should see me right.

Can I get to that elusive third stone lost? Stay tuned.
