Hangabanga.

It’s another week gone and the next in a series of blog posts that like to remind people that it’s another week down and very very nearly the end of another year.

November is now upon us and the evenings are really drawing in now. It’s dark by 5.30 and the weather is definitely more autumnal.

It has been a decent week. My blog was late last week so I was due to head out on Friday to a gig with Birchy, however it was decided late on in the day not to go. Save a few quid for a London gig later in the month.

I have loads of stuff coming up in the next few weeks. Skindred (for the fourth time this year at the weekend), Within Temptation at the CIA, Testament, Anthrax and Kreator in London. Vola in Bristol, the best of the bunch! I will need to remember my ear plugs!

Saturday

I had a lovely weekend spent in Wellington with my great friend Fiona and my non-religious godson James!

We did a couple of walks around Wellington. A trip up to Asda to get some shopping, then a walk to a local pub for some food which was really nice.

Sunday there were more walks. We started the day with a Wellington Friends Breakfast at the local Spoons. A walk then around Wellington and then time to head home. A lovely weekend where food was on the back burner and there was a lot of chat which was lovely.

A short walk last night up and down to the M4 was all I could get in but it all adds up I suppose.

The tale of the scale

I was hoping for a good result this week. It really has been up and down for a while.

Thankfully, it was down this week. One whole pound off this time. The scales did bounce around a bit and I thought that I’d managed to lose a lot more than I had but when they settled down I was happy with this weeks effort.

Next Week

Again, I have a good week ahead. I’m planning on a good walk with Alex tomorrow. The first wander around Roath Park for quite a while. I may be able to get down to the Reservoirs again too but that may be tricky. The Reservoirs close at 4pm now so an evening walk there isn’t really possible now until the spring.

I am going to see Skindred at the weekend so it’s another trip down the M5. I am going to drive there so I won’t be drinking and there will be a bit of walking there. I will try to get some other walking in and will do my best to stick as close to plan as I can for the next 7 days.

Hopefully it will lead to another loss, heading towards the three stone target before Christmas.

Wish me luck.
