February Feck!

Hello, it’s me again. It’s Tuesday the 11th of February and I’m back from another Slimming World group.

It’s been a quite a dull week this week to be fair. I’ve not done well as previous weeks and my head has not really been with things as I think I’m missing Scotland. I don’t think that I got off to the best of starts foodwise as I still had a few treats from my visit north.

I thought that I’d not walked very often last week but looking back on Strava, I walked every day except on Saturday.

Wednesday was a walk to collect my new specs. I’m still trying to get used to them! Thursday was a loop, Friday again another wander.

Saturday I was on the road down to Exeter and Sunday, a brief wander with Fiona. Yesterday I did a longer walk than normal but managed it quite nicely.

Food has not been fantastic this week to be fair. I did make a bolognaise earlier in the week. Lots in the freezer but not managed to finish that off yet! There’s a few servings left so I don’t have to do anything this week.

However I did have a few slip ups food wise. My main downfall is crisps and I need to try and keep myself out of Sainsburys for a few days as my head is telling me to just grab a shed load of snacks when I’m there.

Perhaps I do need to see a psychologist and get some counselling.


The Tale of the Scale

After the last few weeks Slimmer of the Week awards and the three stone award, I didn’t think that was going to get the hat-trick this week. I had hoped that with all the walking that I may at least have a maintain.

Stepping on the Scales of Doom, it registered a 2.5lb gain. ☹ Feck!!

I think that I know where that has come from despite the walking there has been a bit of crappy food over the last few days. I need to ensure that I keep a track of the food that goes in my gob!


Next Week

So this next week I have little that’s going to cause me an issue. There is a movie released on Thursday that I want to see so may wait for the weekend to go to the cinema. 

There are no plans this week for a visit to the pub and there is no rugby this week either.

I will certainly watch what I am eating for the week and will do a few walks again. I have a good walk coming up tomorrow in my childhood stomping ground and I will get out and about at the weekend too.
