Hello all. Thanks are due for your patience while I’ve been trying to move the site to it’s new host. Things didn’t go very smoothly and I think I may have lost some images from my very early posts.
However, the new host should be faster and has unlimited storage space. I hope that the experience for you the reader is a better and smoother one.
So I suppose it’s time to catch you all up on the last few weeks and where things have gone in the land of Phil, a little island in the World of Slim.
Previously…
I had a good weekend. A visit to The Globe and an AC/DC Tribute band on the Friday evening, followed by a visit to Metro’s for the first of two club nights (on the same night!)

A cracking evening despite my poorly foot.
It was going to be a busy weekend as the next day was out to The Student’s Union for the annual beer and cider festival.
Unsurprisingly, the week resulted in a gain of 1lb. Not overly happy with that but it was just a small gain.
Last Weekend
So last weekend was one spent in that there London again. A visit to The Shepherds Bush Empire for Zakk Sabbath. Zakk Wylde performing Black Sabbath songs in the style of Black Label Society!
What a gig. Heavier than Sabbath but with all the familiarity of songs that have been with us for 50 years.
The following day, there was a visit to the Science Museum and then across the city to find a pub to sit and watch the Scotland v Wales match. A good day and another improving performance from a young Welsh squad.

Back to Cardiff on Sunday and unsurprisingly a 2.5lb gain again.
Next Week.
I’ve challenged myself to try and lose 4lbs in the next week. I’m not likely to do that but I will do my absolute best to lose as much as I can.
I have been given a ticket to the Wales v England game on the weekend. My plan however is to just go into town for the game and then straight back home after the match. It will be an afternoon of alcohol free beers.
I’ll try to watch my intake this week and will do my best to stay off the fizzy drinks. More water than Pepsi Max and Irn Bru!
I will of course let you know how it goes. 🙂
