
It’s always a bit of a mystery to me how Slimming World work or doesn’t as the case may be. I understand that everybody is different but I’m flummoxed as to how mine works!
I can honestly say that I’ve had a poor week one way or another. Only two and a half days working last week and a stupid amount of food.
My foot is still causing me jip and I really do need to get someone to have a look at it but there’s no way that I will be able to rest up and get myself off it.
It’s stopping from walking any decent distances and over the last week, despite the amazing weather I’ve not been out at all and where I was walking up to 15 miles a week, I’ve done absolutely zip.
My week had been quiet a boring one to be fair. I did very little so I don’t have any images from the week apart from my putting together a barbeque and putting up my old tent to check that all the bits there and ready for Steelhouse.
I’m not going to take the air tent as at the moment, it will only be me camping at Steelhouse this year. There’s not enough room to stand up in the tent but it’s not so bad that I can’t.

The tale from the scale.

So given that the week was so poor, I was amazed that the scales registered a 2lb loss.
I have absolutely no idea how that happened given the food and lack of exercise.
However, I’ll certainly take it!
It certainly wasn’t expected and to be honest, I’ve been feeling quite down about the whole thing over the last week or so.
Next time.
This week is going to be tricky as I have a few events that may take me off track. An afternoon out and a wedding party to go to.
I’ll drive to one of those to try and save a bit of cash and a few calories!
I’ve already started early by completing 13,000 steps by midday doing another volunteering day with work. More about that in next week’s blog though.
Meanwhile, I still need to rest my foot!
