
Happy Tuesday everyone.
Just back from the latest episode of You’re a Fat Bloke Harry. It’s not going that well this week. For smeg sake!
Wednesday started well with another swim at Maindy Pool. I lost count of the number of length’s that I swam and for some reason, the fitbit wasn’t very good at tracking it.
I’m going again tomorrow evening so will try again to track the swim.

I did a skip run and dumped a few black bags I stopped at Iceland on the way back and got myself a few Slimming World meals.
This was awful!! Looks really tasty on the packet but I was very disappointed with the contents. All Slimming World meals are free food on the plan. This however was like cardboard. However, there is hope as they do a chicken tikka one too.
Thursday was a good day too. I’d booked tickets to see Rhod Gilbert at the Utilita Arena way way back and Thursday was the day.
I’d never seen Rhod live and was so looking forward to seeing the show. I was not disappointed. It was everything you would expect. An emotional, dark but extremely funny account of his recent cancer treatment.

Friday was a very quiet evening so I didn’t get very much done or very far with the day.
Saturday was a nice day. I went into town for a couple of beers with Boich. It wasn’t meant to turn into an all nighter!
As you may therefore expect, Sunday was a write off!
The tale of the scale.

So, the scales of doom registered another gain. 2lbs on this week.
I can’t say that I’m shocked to be honest. It has been a bit up and down over the last two weeks with a net half pound gain. (1.5 off last week).
I know that this week has not been a good week and that I’m definitely not moving as much as I have been.
No, I’ve still not had my foot looked at!
Next time.
I’m not hopeful of any loss in the next week either. I’m off to Blackpool for the annual visit to The Waterloo for the Motorhead weekender. I also have a Team Afternoon out with my old team on Friday.
I am going to go for a swim tomorrow evening and will aim to get some steps in with a quiet walk on Thursday evening. The weekend will no doubt be quite a rough one. As I’m doing the driving then the drinking will be quite limited. I’ll not drink after 8pm on Saturday night as it’s a good 4hr drive back to Cardiff.
Thankfully, next Monday is a Bank Holiday so there will be time to rest up before going back to work. If the weather is good then it will be mow the lawn and it could be BBQ and perhaps another wander beforehand.
