
Hello all. It’s been a bit more than a week and it’s again flown by.
Thursday’s will be my new update day as I’m a refugee from Danescourt and have now been forced to get myself over to a new Slimming World group.
I wasn’t sure about where I was going today so was a bit early for the group. I know that weigh in is from 7:30pm to 8pm and that should be okay although it is a bit later that Danescourt. I may try and get to the 6pm group next week.
The last week has been a bit rough to be honest. Mandy is back home and is getting herself better now so that was good.
I went to see Motorwrecked in Llantwit Major on Saturday. That was a good bank holiday weekend. I had too much booze and had a nice meal but when I’m left on my own then things go bad and there were some crisps involved and as I look back, there were many other tasty things that perhaps should have been left very much alone!

I did get out for a walk yesterday and I went swimming again at Maindy Pool. I must admit that I’m really enjoying the swimming and think that I need to up the number of times that I go.
Tale of the Scale
This week hasn’t been good food wise and it has shown on the scales with a 2.5lb gain.
A bit gutted as the last few weeks have been good with losses. I’m not able to string more than three weeks with losses but it’s something that I’ve come to accept!
Perhaps I do need to look at councilling to sort out my issues with food, eating for comfort and sometimes just for something to do.
I’ve got an online shop arriving tomorrow so I will try to stick to that food and not spend more than I have to.

Sorry, a short update this week.
Next week, I will be better and will provide more of an update. I’m hopeful that the weekend will be good. There’s a gig in the offing on Saturday night so will be looking to go to that. I will look to drive so that there will be a lack of drink and Sunday’s lack of hangover will be good.
If the weather is good then I’ll have a go at the back garden again and get the old mower out. At least that will give me a few steps.
I’m also going to go for a walk as my foot is feeling a bit better now. Hopefully next week will be a better and back on plan.
