Two Down

A quiet week again with very little happening. I had my appraisal in work this week and was a bit apprehensive about it.

I hoped for a good write up and it was generally okay. The usual things about productivity came up as they’ve done in every job I’ve ever had. I’m not the fastest worker in the world but I do hope that I’m thorough and while it may take me longer I hope the result is better.

I don’t think that they’re taking into account the time spent on the phones and the work that needs to happen after the calls. It is genuinely a bit of a mess there. I know that management know that we’re all up against it and I think a lot of people are fed up with the way things are going.

I certainly hope that things improve but I can’t see that it’s going to get any better.

However once the day is done then these a few hours to relax and pursue the rest of the day.

Friday night was a good one. A gig at Fuel Rock Club with one of my favourite bands at the moment. They had a good set but it was spoiled slightly by the sound at the club and there were some numpties in the crowd who were laughing and talking all the way through.

Adfeilion are a great band just starting out and they need great support.

I was saving myself for Saturday so I drove to the gig and headed straight home when it finished.

Saturday was a good one. Again another birthday to celebrate. An evening at Flight Club was a good start to the night and of course it ended on the dance floor at Fuel.

I did sink a few beers on Saturday but didn’t get food. I hit the hay at 4am!

Sunday, I didn’t rise from the pit until about 2pm! I managed to get a roast dinner in the oven and just watched a bit of telly. I was back in bed by 9pm!

The rest of the week has been good. I wasn’t able to book in for a swim on Monday so had to book in for Tuesday evening. I went for my second swim this evening after Slimming World.

Wednesday was a good but expensive day. I scratched the bumper on my car a few months ago and I’ve finally got around to getting it repaired. The paintshop was down on the Llanishen Trading Estate. I took the car down and walked back home. A walk then back down to go and collect it in the afternoon. Both times it was wazzing it down so absolutely soaked!

So I hoped for a good result on the scales of doom

The tale of the scale.

So I felt that I had a good week this week. Food was as close to plan as I could possibly could be.

There have been KitKats but only one a day and I’ve had a couple of HiFi bars so I am getting a sweet treat if I need it.

So I was hopeful that there would be a good result.

This week, I’ve lost again. 4.5lbs this week. Not as good as the week before but there were a few more beers on the weekend and I’m hopeful for a hat-trick next week.

Next week.

Not much again happening this coming week. I do have an afternoon on Saturday and there may be a beer or two but it won’t be a repeat of last weekend.

Wish me luck.
