A Grand old slam…

I might have mentioned a couple of weeks ago that it was Six Nations time again. It’s been a good month of Rugby and culminated at the weekend with Super Saturday. Three great games and one amazing Grand Slam. Second in the World rankings and 14 games undefeated. What an achievement.

I’ve achieved a milestone this week too. It’s been a year with my employer. 12 months which at times seemed mission impossible but I’ve got that first year under my belt and hopefully there will be many more but who knows what’s going to happen

I’ve been walking with Alex again. She’s run like two marathons this week it seems. I’ve managed twice around Roath Park Lake and the Rec. I suppose it’s another 10k towards my 75 mile Race at your Pace award.

Just about five miles left to walk by Sunday and I think that’s another achievement for the month. The next target could be 100 miles and that would definitely be a moment for me.

I was quite good this week. I did have a Maccy D’s Cheeseburger last Saturday but that was as bad as I got. I had a nice week with very little in the way of synnage.

As a result, the Scales of Doom were kind again this week and I’ve lost another 2.5lbs. So I’m thinking that if I can keep this up, I might reach my initial target of 19st 11.5lbs (9 stone loss) by the end of April.
