Totally Trousered

I’m not sure what to write about this week. I’ve had a good week on plan and have registered another loss at group tonight.

I need to look back at my achievements this week because my week has been full of anxiety and general stupidity which far outweigh the good things.

My week started with a lovely surprise that was sent to me by some wonderful friends (well, they’re family really), who have been following my weight loss with some fantastic encouragement and enthusiasm. They sent me a loaded M&S gift card so that I could buy myself some new bits and pieces since I’d lost 100lbs.

Saturday evening was a great night out. My pal organises a gig at the local rock club. Loads of bands and the odd crazy solo artist playing heavy metal and rock music all to raise funds for Help for Heroes.

Sunday consisted of a trip to M&S to spend my gift card. This is where I hit my peak of the week. I was able to buy myself two pairs of jeans and for the first time in a very long time, I was able to buy them off the shelf in a high street store!

My last pair of jeans were a 52″ waist. The pair I bought on the weekend were 44″. 8 inches smaller. I don’t think I’ve been able to do that for the last 20 years or so. I’ve bought off the internet all this time as it wasn’t possible to find the sizes in the shops. As my weight drops, I’ll be able to buy more stuff without having to wait for delivery.

The rest of the week has been pretty poor really but the Scales of Doom were kind again and I lost 2.5lbs this week. Only another 2.5lbs to go and there’s another certificate on the horizon. A step closer to the next stone down too.

Weight21st 7lbs
Loss2.5lb
Total102.5lb
7st 4.5lb

This months losses therefore total 10lbs.

Not bad really.
