The birthday month continues…

Well hello. Another week under the belt and another weigh-in completed.

Tuesday’s are a nightmare for me at the moment. Up at 6am to get ready and on the bus stop for 7am, into work at 8am. A full day in the office and then the bus home. By the time I get home, there’s about 10 minutes to feed the cat before I need to leave for Slimming World.

Today’s shock in work was that my current T/L has decided to leave the team and is heading back to his old team to take on a new role. I have no idea yet as to how that will affect us but a number of my colleagues have expressed dismay at his decision. Still, we’ve got about a month with him still so plenty of time to change his mind!

This week has been a bit of fun. I went out for a few beers after work on Friday evening. We went to The Grand to watch the Argentina v New Zealand rugby match which I thoroughly enjoyed. For some reason I thought that I’d hit the Guinness and had quite a few pints. It turned into a very late one, getting home at 4am on Saturday morning! Strangely, apart from being very tired I didn’t have much of a hangover.

The rest of the weekend was very lazy. I did have some crisps and a takeaway Maccy D’s was involved. I do not regret a thing!!

The Tale of the Scale

So, despite the drinks, the food at The Grand and a very cheeky McDonalds on Sunday evening, the Scales of Doom still registered a 2lb loss.

So again I’m very pleased with this weeks results and 1st 9lbs down, still counting. 5lbs to go to two stones down. At this rate then it will be the middle of November when I hit that mark, earlier than I had scheduled.

I hope to hit two and half stone by Christmas now so that I can enjoy grub over the break and to have a good New Years in Falkirk with Alex.

It was a joint Slimmer of the Week with Pixie this week too so that was cool. (I know the date on the cert is different but I can’t be arsed to scan the new one!)

On my Spotify this week

An absolute classic from the Pet Shop Boys. 30 years ago, they released an album called Very. Along with this was a second album called Relentless in a limited edition rubber case. Not everyone got their hands on Relentless so it has been remastered and reissued on it’s own. 30 years ago and I still have my copy somewhere!

Next time on Fatboy Slimmer…

This coming week will be fairly straight forward again. There’s not much that’s going to get in the way again this weekend. I do have an evening out at Fuel on Saturday night for their Halloween Spooktacular! I may drive but said that about last weekend!

Hopefully then another couple of pounds next week too.

Anyway. Thanks for reading my rubbish again.
