Mid October 23.


So it’s been another very quick week with very little doing. I did go to see Jon Richardson doing his stand up in Swansea but that was probably the highlight of the week. The rest of the week has simply been work and sleep. 

Foodwise, it’s been okay. I’ve had a few slip-ups with the grub. A packet of crisps here, a pack of biscuits there so it’s been very much up and down. An alcohol free weekend this time except with a sip of a stout that wasn’t the best I’d ever tasted. 

Work has been busy. We’ve added a new brand and the contact has massively increased. It has been a bit slow recently so it’s been a bit of a shock with the added numbers. We have trained some newbies up to take the contact but it seems like it’s been far more than expected. 


Last week in group I bought a new Countdown to get me through to the new year. With the Coundown (12 weeks for the price of 10) comes a new recipe book and this one’s for air fryers!

I love my air fryer, probably one of the best things I’ve ever purchased for the kitchen. I will be trying a few of these out.

Air Fryer Doughnuts are definitely one to try and Calamari Rings. Oh my life some of these look really easy to do.

I shall look forward to these and may even post some photo’s of the results here in the next few weeks.


The tale of the scale.

So, despite the week having been pretty poor on plan, I stepped on the scales of doom to find that in the past 7 days I’d managed to lose two pounds. I was genuinely expecting two pounds on this week!

Still, a loss is a loss and I’ll happily take that. It’s taking a while and the losses are slower this time round but I’m happy to have hit the 1.5st lost mark.

Onwards then to the two stone mark. Just seven pounds to go and I hope to hit that mark by Christmas. That will make a good end to the year and a fantastic start to the New Year.

A bit of Pink Floyd this week. Just bought the 50th anniversary vinyl of Dark Side of the Moon today. 


Next week on Fatboy Slimmer

I’m going for two pounds again next week. There’s little standing in the way and I’m not too sure if I have anything coming up this week. Another fairly alcohol free weekend and you never know, a couple of wanders may do me okay for next week.
