No change…

So my food optimising has taken a bit of a bash this week and as a result, I’ve only managed to maintain my weight for the week. No loss but thankfully no gain either.

So it started on Friday night as it does with a gig after work. My weekend started with Rarebit Fries and a good number of beers. For someone that was going to get the last bus home at 11.20pm, it turned into a 3.30am journey home. 

Saturday was a bit better but not much. I went to visit my dear old mum who decided that we’d go out for lunch. I tried to be good with my meal. I had a piece of Chicken and Ham pie which was amazing but I opted to have a baked potato with it rather than chips. But as per usual, I let myself down with an amazing dessert, Caramel Apple Betty and Custard. Oh my god. It was so bad. Was it worth it though? Based on this weeks result, I doubt it.

Sunday included a rather amazing beef burger at Ed’s Diner in Cardiff. I was on my way with a friend to see my comedy hero Mr Dave Gorman (see above). We decided to make that stop before the concert as we’ve not seen each other since we left Tesco so had to have a catch up. That always seems to include food with us two! 

The rest of the week, I’ve tried to be good but have slipped by using a lot of convenience foods. I’ve done one of my chilli’s but it’s not going to be enough. 

I’m away for the weekend again so my Food Optimising won’t be on fleek again. I hope for a loss next week but think that I may flounder. If I do then I need to give it my all for the next few days.
