Let’s try this again then.

It’s been a long seven weeks since I last stepped through the doors of the local Slimming World group. Things with Mum had stopped me from going and of course had got me into a cycle of just stuffing everything I could get my hands on into my mouth.

I was expecting that I would step on the scales and that they would have told me that I had put on at the very least a stone if not more than that after these weeks away.

Stepping on The Scales of Doom showed that I had put on. I think that it was quite obvious that it was going to be a gain but I was nicely surprised that I’d only gone back to 1.5lbs more than when I started back at the beginning of September. That’s a total gain of 7.5lbs over that seven weeks. I did that over Christmas in 2019!

The Plan.

A wise man once said that the best plan is not to have a plan. Therefore, nothing can go wrong. However I do need to have a bit of a plan otherwise I’ll never lose anything.

I will look to go for a walk or two in the evenings, I may even set my alarm in the morning for an early wake so I can go before work, even if it’s just up to the M4 and back.

I’m aiming for two pounds loss this week and I hope that it’s achievable. If the weather is good on the weekend then I may go a bit further afield for a wander. That will be interesting. Not done a walk since the Memory Walk for The Alzheimer’s Society.

We’ll see how it goes.

As ever, thanks for reading. Love you all.

Phil.
