An Unexpected Result

This week has been a tricky week in my world of weight loss. We’re heading for Christmas (in case you hadn’t noticed!) and of course we’re starting into party season.

My week therefore included three nights out and lots of not very on plan food. Wing Wednesday at Fuel Rock Club was a lovely pile of deep fried chicken wings smothered in a barbeque sauce and loaded bacon fries.

Friday was a Team afternoon out that had a Burger and more loaded fries. There were also a few beers involved in that too.

Saturday was also a bit of a nightmare too with more beers, more food and more rum than I’ve had in a while. A mahoosive hangover on Sunday didn’t help.

The Scales of Doom

All in all, I wasn’t really expecting a good result at group this evening. I thought that I may have gained after the last weeks food and drink.

So, standing on the scales and seeing that I had lost 2.5lbs this week was a bit of a surprise. I’m still not sure how that worked because trust me, those three days were not good ones (at least food wise!)

I suppose that the days in between have been good and over all far better than the days that were bad so that has helped. Perhaps the loss could have been greater if I’d not had those days.

So far then, three weeks and three pounds down.

Next week.

I don’t have much that can get in the way of my plan for next week. There is a rugby match to attend on Saturday and that may involve a little bit of alcohol! Again, that is the only thing that’s likely to cause an issue.

Hopefully, the food plan will be good for the next three days to the weekend and who knows, if the weather is good then I may be able to get myself down the road for a walk.
