September starters

September has begun and I’ve been really struggling this week with stuff to put in the blog this week!

Really, I’ve been so very boring! I’ve hardly left the house in the last seven days. I did have a fairly short walk on Saturday up to Cefn-Onn Parc just up the road. That was nice and had a good wander followed by a beer at the Cottage Inn.

The rest of the weekend was really a bit lazy. The Grand Prix on Sunday was exciting for 14 laps until Verstappen took the lead and sped off into the distance.

The most exciting thing to happen this week was that Phil Campbell and the B@st@rd Sons (not a name for radio really) released the video that they filmed in Fuel a few weeks ago and I have a blink and you’ll miss it appearance in the vid! I’ll post the link down below! The album Kings of the Asylum was released on the same day and it’s a very fine album indeed. I would urge you to get your hands on a copy.

Phil Campbell Goodies

The tale of the scale.

I’ve not been too bad this week to be fair. Perhaps I have maybe over syn’d slightly on a day or two but even with this. I’ve lost another 2.5lbs this week.

So, this is week seven of this attempt at weight loss. So from 27st 5lbs I’m down to 26st. (1st 5lbs).

I was given Slimmer of the Week again although I’m not sure why! Still it was a nice surprise and I do have another certificate and a sticker for my book!

Phil and his boys.

Blink and you’ll miss me but Birch and myself are in there at 2m16s.

Next week

Apologies for the brevity of the blog this week. I haven’t really had much to impart to you.

In the next week, I have a gig on Thursday night. The official launch of Phil Campbell’s album so that will be a really good, very loud evening. I’ll be driving up to Crumlin so will be a good lad and not drink. I hope that they have 0.0 Guinness (my new favourite thing!) but if not then it’ll be a gallon of diet coke!

Saturday is Brettstock. An annual event now where a friend opens his back garden for rock music, drinkiepoo’s and lots of scrummy grub. I know that I won’t be good on Saturday but I will do my very best for the rest of the week to limit the damage.

Anyway, thanks for reading and I’ll let you know how I get on next Tuesday.
