A Christmas Quicky!

Well after last week’s magnificent, wonderful, incredible two stone award, this week has been a bit of a let down with a very expected gain.

As you may be aware, it’s been Christmas week so I finished work on Friday evening. From there, through the weekend I didn’t really do very much except eat and then Christmas and Boxing Day hit! I had a lovely time over at Cath’s. Spent the day with good friends, good drinks, awesome food, lots of snacks and party games with shot forfeits. It was an amazing day and evening.

Boxing Day I had a lovely roast chicken dinner Some of my best ever roast potatoes and carrots and parsnips. Some Mayflower Southern Style gravy was the ultimate compliment to the meal. It was followed by some Ben and Jerry’s Phish Food Ice Cream and of course the obligatory mince pies.


The Tale of the Scale.

So weigh in was today (Wednesday). Not my normal day but because of the bank holidays it was shifted and was literally just a weigh in with no group and it wasn’t good. My 3lb weight loss last week was totally reversed and became a gain. Do need to give last weeks certificate back?


Next Week.

The thing is that coming up over the next week is my trip to Scotland for Hogmanay. I’m sure I’ll be doing a lot of walking and stuff and it’ll be a really good weekend but you know I think I’m looking at probably another three pound gain in the coming week.

I do need to concentrate in the New Year and look to get out and about for a few walks. I will make it my New Year Resolution to go for at least two walks in a week. I’ll also look to add the details to the blog so there is a record of the walk.

Sorry for the brevity of my blog this week. I do have mince pies and some Quality Street to scoff so I will be back in a week or so.
