The End o’ Feb.

Hello, it’s Tuesday again! God knows where this time is going but we’re at the end of February it was only a few weeks ago that it was the start of February but now we’re at the end. It’s been an okay sort of month to be fair.

We’ve had some beers, some amazing gigs, some rugby and a carvery or two all in all, it’s been a good month. Not necessarily good for the old weight loss but it’s been fun.

I have to apologise for not blogging last week. (I did put a very quick post on Sunday night) I had a nightmare day in work on the Tuesday last week. I didn’t get off a contact until about 5:30pm which meant that I was very late getting home at about 6:30. I had to go straight out to Slimming World and was running so late that the consultant thought that I wasn’t going to turn up!

After I got home, I just couldn’t face it and then time got away with me. I know I should have put my thoughts down in black and white for you but well it was one of those weeks as I’d put two pounds on last time out. This blog is meant to keep me honest. I let myself down last week.

I did something different this weekend, something I haven’t done for about 8 weeks and that was staying in. Netflix dropped the latest series of at Formula One Drive to Survive, so I basically binged the entire series in one and a bit days! It’s it’s an amazing insight into the world of Formula One. The new season starts in Bahrain on Sunday. I love F1 but it would appear that after the test last week then the Championship has already been won by Verstappen and Red Bull. However F1 is IF spelt backwards as Murray Walker always said.

The tale of the scale.

So despite not having a night out on the weekend as per usual I go into Slimming World with a little bit of trepidation wondering how I might have got on in the last seven days.

Standing on the scales of doom I found that I’d lost 4 lbs. Now that might seem pretty good for a week but when I take into account that the last two weeks have had a gain of about 2.5 lbs net, its a 1.5lb loss for the end of the month.

It has take me down into the next stone bracket and I’m only half a pound off having lost 2.5 stone.

Next week.

This weekend is going to be pretty tricky. I’m going to a gig on Friday night but I don’t plan on drinking so I’m going to drive. I’ll take my car and park up by the Museum and walk down to Fuel and to the gig. I’ll try not to stay out too late.

Saturday I’m going to town to watch Cardiff Rugby playing at home against Leinster. I fully expect us to get completely stuffed but it’s the first game of club rugby that I will have seen for a long time. It will be a good game but I think it’s possible that Saturday will involve a small amount of alcohol.

I’ll try and keep it civil and try my best not to have too much but probably find a couple of pints before the game not much during the game and then back to Fuel for a couple of hours. I may even consider the last bus home depends on really how I feel after this week in work.

I will also look to get a couple of walks in again. I went for a semi-decent walk yesterday and really need to build it up and get off my arse.

March is going to be a hectic month. I’ve a number of gigs to go to, a trip to Wellington and another to London for a few days. Then of course at the end of the month is the big one in Scotland again.

Anyway. Thanks for reading again.
